Humboldt County Engagement Session/Nick and Larissa/Shelter Cove/

I shot Larissa’s family photos a couple of years ago, so I was super excited about getting the opportunity to shoot her engagement session. She and Nick wanted their photos taken on Paradise Ridge in the beautiful Southern Humboldt with gorgeous mountain and Shelter Cove ocean views. We had set the shoot up a couple months beforehand when the weather would be nicer, but I ended up having to shoot 20 baseball teams earlier on in the day because of a rain out on their scheduled day. They probably thought I was a little crazy at first because I was pretty tired out, but those four wheel drive roads and the breathtaking views woke me up quickly. We traveled to a few different spots, saw some deer, and caught a beautiful sunset. As fun and beautiful as this shoot was, I can’t wait to shoot their gorgeous Mt Shasta wedding in October!
